Allows you to receive valuble weather information sent by weather bureaus on short wave around the world. A database of weather fax frequencies is provided with the program. USB version requires windows 98 and above.

This software allows you to bring Navtex messages to your PC, either interfacing direct to a NAVTEX engine, or as a repeater from a suitable NAVTEX receiver. The simple program makes it easy to pick out the messages you are interested in, searching and sorting by any combination of transmitting station, message subject, time of transmission,etc. Messages can be viewed, printed and exported. All incoming messages automatically have the Station ID letter changed to the correct transmitting station name. The program incorporates a map showing the location of NAVTEX stations worldwide, plus tables giving the details of each station and its transmission times. The software works with the international 518kHz frequency and the local 490kHz transmitters.

You can send and receive messages by all the methods supported by the INMARSAT C system, such as email, Special Access Code, or to other IMMARSAT C terminals, as 5, 7 or 8 bit data. email is made easy and there is no need to configure headres and know the special email gateway parameters of your service provider. If you need to send specially formatted messages, this can be done using RTF messages. PC SatC is similar to Outlook in appearance and behaviour.

SmartMet allows to to download and view detailed weather reports and forecasts on your PC. Import and export as GRIB files for inclusion in other products such as chart plotters. Decide the area and time window for your forecast and download it from the server via your internet connection. Produce your own weather map deciding what data is displayed and how it should appear.

The software is based around worldwide NOAA pilot chart data depicting expected weather conditions year round. By inputting your vessel's characteristics, Visual Passage Planner can predict voyage weather conditions, vessel performance, great circle courses and more. Charts are displayed in spherical, Cartesian or Mercator projections and waypoints are displayed along with predicted or actual noon positions. The instant report functions continuously modify your passage.
