C-Map NT+ or are vector charts available on either cartridge for use in GPS plotters or on CD for PC applications.  The chart area is seamless and is available as an area of coverage rather than a folio of discrete charts.  In the area purchased, there is complete cartographic data and it is possible to zoom out for an overview, or in for maximum detail.  The only exception being the 'Passage areas covering a very large geographical area, but with less zoom detail, but at a lower price.  There are four size areas: Local, Standard, Wide and Superwide.  Only the Wide and Superwide are available on CD format.

MAX - the system that incorporates many additional features - multi-media objects such as aerial photos of marinas and approaches, coastal road mapping of marina areas, wreck and underwater obstruction data, tide and current database with animated tidal arrows, dynamic depth contors, land contours, dynamic navaids to show correct flashing light sequence, perspective view option (3D)

MAX-Pro is designed for high performance navigation systems.

The PC Planner allows you to load and view your C-Map charts onto your PC using the same cartridges that you use on board.  This allows you to do all your planning at home with your laptop and then load the cartridge on board ready for use.
